| This advert follows the Male gaze theory as it connotes lust for a women therefore projecting the idea that women are to be looked at whilst men are the lookers additionally the advert has a negative connotation which is that if a woman don't look like this they aren't in shape moreover the image further signifies that women should go to the gym in order to be looked at in the same way by men. This advert actively objectifies women as well as attempting to encourage them to be active as the womans breast is being shown through her outfit, which is revealing and has no correlation with the tagline. |
